Circe was an enchantress. She changed Odysseus's men into swine ,on his way home from the Trojan War.Her charms though supernatural ,had no effect on him(he was under the protection of Athena).Here we have a voyeurs view on her world as she casts a spell in a cave by the shore.The changlings look on unable to defend against her spells.
I've used photoshop and muted the tones and affected edgework so as to simulate oil painting in a style reminiscent of the turn of the century.All the animals are from photos of my metal sculptures...
